interpret as you will

dry skin cracked like a hot summer sidewalk, negligence to yourself

hide your emotions they don't exist

silence yourself in the darkest of rooms, in the darkest of nights

blood flowing from your knuckles like a sacrifice at an altar made purely of pain

scream into your pillow, shout to those who refuse to listen 

make them listen.
