Forever Cold

A poem about a time lost gone. Cold yet remains.

A chilling winter haunts my soul
As I walk through this endless trail
The wind blows against my coat
The snow falls down upon the face
I cannot remember anything
And yet I remember everything
There once was a time where we were warm
But now all that remains is bitter cold
So I find it bittersweet
That the candy became sour
I hope to find sunshine again
But all that remains is cold
Forever cold
