Ask

Ask

A Poem by Lestat's daughter

He asks me if I like him.

I'm stunned speachless.

I ask him where it came from,

I get no responce.

Does he kn ow and plan to stop talking to me?

Does he like me and want to return my affection?

How can I know if he wont tell me?

I don't know what to do from here.

He shouldn't ask me such things.

He said he couldn't see us as an us.

So why would he do that to me?

Is it even really him texting, or is someone else pressing the buttons?

Ouch, at the end. This is such a honest insight into personal though on wondering. I love this line, " He said he couldn't see us as an us", that is really a great line. Makes you wonder why they can't just stop being cowards and speak up. :) Great job!
