New Life

New Life

A Poem by Lyricalfairydust
"

Be a rose in a garden.

"
There it lay, alone in its' field.
A withered flower, with no way to heal.
No sun to shine, no water to help grow.
The soil was dry, no colors to show.
Alone so alone, this flower will be.
No one for miles, no one to see.
There deep down inside, the beauty within.
The outside may be broken , though inside its always been.
Just give up, and give it to the stars said the wind.
I will said the flower, today is the day i begin.
Day after day the flower said  "Faiths on my side".
"This is my new life, no more will i hide".
Then out came the sun, the rain helped it grow.
Filled with petals, pink and orange, center yellow.
So amazing it's beauty that birds flew around.
The soil so rich with it's new roots in the ground.

I am sure why not one saw this. It was a beautiful write :) It comes with a story metaphorically sound. One day many years ago in my early teens my Grandma told me something she wasn't a poet but a very faithful lady still is at 97. She always had me planting flowers and my favorite was the rose. Red was my color:) The color of passion. She saw I had a great love for the rose. The rose is a special one she said. It comes with great joy and you must treat her well. She is planted for one to see gives a love no other can give you see. She must be planted in a way her root before the best of soil and sun she so needs. But she will grow in given time. Her color and scent no man can create and she gives a birth her stems and leaves a blossom of color she stands in delight. That is your rose the one of day and night. I was in awe and took me years to gather the full understanding of what Grandma said. So the rose is still a special one. Be a rose in a garden you said before anything. I had dreams about that garden two beaches sit within that dream I'm not sure it was heaven or what but it was beautiful. I waited on a bench surrounded by red roses to see But I was waiting for my love the one never got to be. Again you write was very beautiful and yes it deserves credit:) but is within my eyes thank you for sharing.
