A Poem by Indra's Child

Too many meaningless cigarettes.

Too many disinterested kisses.

Too much too soon and not enough spooning,

Under the sheets.

Too little love.

...Far too little love.

Not enough intimacy, sentiment and,

Beauty, not nearly enough,

Deep meaning.

Too many messages that don't concern me.

Too many games to play, can't keep up.

Too many people chasing you who's chasing booze,

Scantily clad in armor with arms out like you're planning an attack on,

Titan...

Too many meaningless looks.

Too much meaningless conversation.

Too many distant, vague falters in,

Communication.

What one word means, another discards,,

And I just want a

Definition,

For the sake of repetition, not reputation.

Too much meaninglessness for such a small

Duration
