Judgement Days

Judgement Days

A Poem by JoyJumper22
"

illustrates the motive behind the dread of turning in a paper

"

Why does a student dread the written paper so much? Is it the work? Is it the time spent on something that is seemingly so useless?

Or is it the conscious fact that its some small part of yourself that you will hand over to be judged? You will concede a tiny fragment of your personal makeup to be marked up, crossed out, circled and criticized… in thick, red, blotchy ink.
