The Color Brown

Many people consider brown to be the ugliest color.

It is plain and boring,

or even filthy.

The color of the trees,

the dirt,

the rocks,

the pine cones.

But what else?

It is the color of the most exciting things too.

Chocolate,

cinnamon,

nutmeg,

almonds.

The best things in life are brown.

In nature and in our kitchens.

Brown is not an ugly color.

Brown is just misunderstood.

Brown is the color of the roots that keep our trees planted.

Brown is the color of the dead leaves we like to crunch in the fall.

Brown is the color of the delicious dessert we all crave for.

Brown is the spice of our life.

Brown is beautiful.

I like how you repeated brown is the..
it made a statement. I also like how you took something that is assumed to be ugly and you made it seem beautiful. It sort of gave an insight on life. How something that seems plain, simple, or ugly, can be the thing that love in life. Great job :)
