Ticking Time Bomb

Ticking Time Bomb

A Poem by Scars and Souvenirs

The anger builds

You know that anything could set you off

Your blood boiling

Try to suppress the anger

Only making it worse in the long run

You try to go into your own world

Ignoring reality

People poke you from a distance

Trying to set you off

They don't realize the danger there in

You’re a ticking time bomb

Only seconds before you burst

You finally explode

Letting all your anger and hate out towards the world

Anyone in the line of fire will be burned

Hurtful words and threats spill out of your mouth

Tears fall

You walk away before you throw a punch

Leaving some anger left for next time

Another bomb waiting to go off..

I like the metaphor, gurl! ;D
I totally get the anger and frustration. We were clearly on the same page yesterday at the blood drive as far as anger goes.
Awesome job, friendy foo!
