Sugar

Sugar

A Poem by Malice Hook

Dear friend with the sugar evidenced on your hands,
A bandage in words cannot heal a disease
That's further infested with each customer in line
And the loves ones that stretch the tight skin with ease.

The designers, the artists, the makers, the clowns
Cower behind the shield of a tagged name.
But for you, the one I had entrusted wholly,
I didn't know you were trained in the same.
