Waiting

Waiting

A Poem by MamiBrat

Waiting
Constantly waiting
Waiting for something
Waiting for someone
So tired of waiting.
My patience is wearing thin
My patience is overwhelming me
Time don't go backwards
Only progresses forward
Time can't repeat itself
Time can't stand still
Waiting
And waiting
For you, or him, or her,or them
For something or somebody
Clock ticks away
Eyes are fading
Slowly
Ever so slowly
I'm so tired of waiting.

I'm done

I like it! Spoke some of the words on my mind......for me though, I feel like I'm constantly waiting for myself. It's very tiring. I'm always seeking perfection, but that's waiting for something unattainable isn't it?
