This Is Scandulous

A different viewpoint on school dress code.

 This Is Scandalous

"Don't wear jeans ripped above the knee"

"No noodle straps"
"Shorts need to be finger tip length" 

Oh, those are just restrictions 

Aimed at the young ladies in 

many public school systems 

Some don't make sense 

but as I grow older I begin to 

realize what they are in place for 

It's so boys don't sexulize 

body parts on the young ladies 

at school 

Schools think they're solving problems 

yet in reality they are creating more 

How?

You may ask 

Young boys know about these rules 

since kindergarten 

It is a learned trait from an early on 

stage that these parts on a womens

body is to be sexulized 

When in actuality you should be trying 

to teach them that it isn't 

okay to to sexulize a woman's body 

Yet they continue to instill these rules 

Causing youngs to think that their body 

is to be ashamed of 

When you're supposed to love yourself?
