What is your world like?

Close your eyes for a moment and listen.

Listen to the world 

and resist the urge to open your eyes.

Find a comfortable place 

in the sound and open your ears.

To the scuffling of feet, 

the chitter and chirp of birds, 

the muffled conversations of bodies.

Where are you?

What do you hear?

What are your ears telling you?

Really listen.

Yes, yes, and yes!!! Has been said that people can see with their ears if imagination and reality holds the key to their hearts. And i think that's how you feel, what you're suggesting. Lying back in the garden (weather permitting), eyes closed, arms, hands relaxed,,, listening for such magical sounds, a breeze dancing with leaves, bird-song beautiful in different voices,, the call of distant creatures...Magic, absolute magic.
