I miss you Vanessa

I miss you Vanessa

A Poem by Amorous Palm

What happens when we die?

something i have always wanted to know,

Well, i guess now you know,

How does heaven look?

Is it made of gold clouds and fluffy, white beds?

Is heaven even real?

Were you reincarnated into a different world,

Or a different life?

How about your new parents,

Are they understanding? Are they nice?

Or are you just in a pitch black room?

Nothing there?

Or are you simply just spectating the world around me?

Do you miss the beautiful trees,

Do you miss the taste of McDonalds nuggets?

Do you see us?

How much we cried when you left,

I cried for weeks on end,

When you left, it became hard to even get dress,

Because, after all,

You were my best friend.

Do you see our friend group,

We will never be the same,

Do you miss the sound of hail on your roof?

Do you miss the never-ending hugs I always gave?

And most of all,

Do you regret it?

Such reality in your comments and questions: the kind of words used when your heart is inside out and vice versa. When loved people disappear from sight, they do Not, neither Can disappear from the heart. I know that.. and so do you in the most moving and genuine way. (You)

A set of questions. Philosophical, thought provoking. I think heaven will be a boring place

Reincarnation, I feel I must have signed an agreement with God not to push me into another world.

I feel nothing there in this world too. When I look earth from light years away.

Excellent poem 👍
