red ribbon

red ribbon

A Poem by racquil

Walking on the shore
when the heavy rain fall
The water of heaven
was thousand knives for a little girl
Running to the little house with someone strange
looking at their faces with eyes full of fears.
The little girl was lost and found no where to run
sings with the wind as her sound of cry was heared
Holding the red ribbon a sign of hope
"Someone will rescue me" her heart spoke
Not in a second a familiar feet was on her front
as she look down on the sand
Quickly she stand and smiling at the man
Heart pound with joy confirming her red ribbon of hope
"As long as you got the red ribbon on your hand
Your hero will be at your side"
The man spoke to the little girl
touching her hair and looking at the innocent eyes
My hero my hero! run so fast
hide and seek i love so much!
the little girl giggle
as she relay the what she called play.

Now where is the hero? The little girl ask
he left the red ribbon and never come back
"You told me you will run so fast
as you see the red ribbon on my hand"
the little girl shout with grieve in heart
Waiting like hell when the man disappear
Red ribbon sign of hope or sadness that never heal
she tied the red ribbon in hand
and hope for the man to come
but the man was missing
like shadow in darkness
the little girl never seen the man again
she cried in pain like face in mud
cursing the red ribbon in her hand
now she turn to woman but still holding the red ribbon
waiting for the man.
counting stars as it shines at night
"would still my hero come back?"
She ask
"yes he will as long as the red ribbon's on my hand"
hoping like unseen wind passing by....
