NEVER WAS

NEVER WAS

A Poem by Marimartha Mardynz
"

this piece is a voice of a person who suffered because of unrecricated love.

"
What never was
shall never be.
And you never were
and you and i never were.
It was always me,
and only me.
But us never was.

And everyday that is,
not the days that haven't been,
i open my eyes in the morning
and remind my self that,
it never was,
and i tell my self
that am Okay and just fine
because there was no end
after all, nothing ever was.

And every moment that is or has been,
i look at you
and force my self not to think
or remember anything about you
because nothing ever was,
what then is there to think about or remember.

And whether you look at me or not,
or you smile at me or not,
i care the least about it
because it doesnot matter
or at least not to me
because it never was,
and what never was shall never be.

You've got your message well and clearly-forwarded. And the tune match to the theme of the piece ("softly-hash). But at the description, I couldn't find the meaning of the word , could you please help me out.
