Little dreadlock angel

Little dreadlock angel

A Poem by Mark Heathcote

Come and kiss me

My little dreadlock angel

Dance with the lamb,

I’ll give you no quarter

From my eternal love

Come and hold me

Like the light attached to a candle

That’s how I’ll love you

Come and I’ll break all…

Your bad elusions like bread.

Float you in a heaven

That’ll take over your head and breath

Come my little dreadlock angel

I’ll braid your flowers

And make the meadow your bed.

And make your bed

Where all heavens angels

Hang their head and wish,

And wish they too weren’t dead…

About
I like all kinds of poems but I tend to gravitate toward eastern spiritual poetry. My muse almost demands it of me. So you may find quite a few being poured out from time to time. I all so write man.. more..
