The Beginning

The Beginning

A Poem by Monty.
"

has a 'sequel' is there a termanology for a continuance with poems? (i know...I sure do know a lot huh? lol =])

"

Tears evenly placed

She wonders if her heart ever was the same

He takes her hand with a smile

Walking away down a road

That holds only two

She cries and hugs his photo close

Aching and dying slowly

As each tear carves a path along her cheeks

He holds her with gentle hands

& a smiling face.

Laughing at her simple silliness

She throws herself against the wall

Agony screaming from her

Nails ripping at her skin

He whispers softly,

"…I’ll always be the one to love you most"

& holds her hands, promising silently never to let go

Shuddering & gasping for breath

Calling out his name

…again & again

He picks her up with ease

Kissing her with every missed heartbeat

With torn body & a broken heart

Crawling alone on a floor
