Spoiled Brat

Spoiled Brat

A Poem by Martha Gilleece

I need to work
and get out more often.
I need to save money
and not let it burn so fast.
I need to be more kind
to those who really care.
But that’s not what I want
and I know it may not be right but...
I want to sleep for days
and not be disturbed.
I want to listen to Jim
speak his beautiful words.
I want to waste my cash

 on the cutest
                         h
                         e
                         e
                          l
                          s
that I’ll probably never wear.
Though I may sound selfish,
I do not care.
I want to be who I am
and marry a billionaire.

Don't we all. I love this. Especially the line about the heels. I have three pairs that never get worn. They are just nice to look at. Well done a very fun write.
