The city that sleeps

The city that sleeps

A Poem by martinehansen
"

This is a poem that came to me one night I could not sleep, but Oslo did.

"
Darkness lays as a blanket over kneeling street lights and lazy taxis that winds through snoring streets
Green lungs inhales and exhales in line with thousands and thousands of breaths
And I'm just here, sensing the silence
Feeling the darkness
Inhaling and exhaling in line with the thousands
In the city that sleeps
