The name says it all

Religion

 

Temples, Churches & Mosque, You have tried it all.

Temple of Education, done with schools & Universities too

You definitely speak, but what?

 

Preserving Religion you claim

Death toll & bloodshed the statistics say

Brutality & inhumanity we receive & perceive.

 

Still counting & you take pride

You will not change, probably never

Because a snake cannot stop being venomous

 

But, Do not seek Shelter under religion

Do not make it your shield

Because it is much beyond your understanding.

 

Our religion is way to different from yours

Our religion teaches to respect every Individual soul

Our religion teaches to love one another

Our religion teaches to help the needy

Our religion teaches to save lives.

 

Yes, our religion is way to different from yours.

Because, our religion is Humanity!

Author's Note

It looks like more of a declarative sentence or assertive sentence & less of a poem.
I am not be letting myself, but after reading all my writer friends over here I feel I have not yet snicked into the art of writing.
Anyways I hope you all would like it.

A worthy assertion and one could include the religion of communism that has wreaked so many horrors or how rationality justified Darwinian racism.

The last line says it all that 'our religion is humanity' .

No RELIGION is great than HUMANITY. Every Religion is based on it but some badboys never obey them and make gives it wrong direction for youth.
