Tears

Tears

A Poem by Mary

Silently they fall
Speaking with no words
A river flowing endlessly
Longing to be heard.

Within this turbulent abyss
Comes a wistful sorrow
In hopes that you may hear
These tears that fall again tomorrow.

Very intense for only eight lines. Although they are short, they say so much and mean so much. Emotional and easy to relate to. Bravo!

It may be a quick write but it's good. Someone once told me that the best stories or poems are the ones written straight from the heart. I think this applies. Awesome job.
