A Poem by Mary

It was something about the way you would wake up after me, and giggle and pretend to go back to sleep. Or how you could pull me out of the storm, in which was my own train of thought. Perhaps it was the way you made the best cup of tea and how when we shared tea, we shared much more than tea. Maybe it was the way your fingers traced my jaw as you kissed the pain away from my lips. Some where along the lines you saved me, from me. When the skies were turning grey, its like your smile was the sun, and it was suddenly a beautiful Florida day.
