Sailing

Slow boat moving
On the breeze covered ocean
Dreams pushing forcefully on the sails back
Letting the bow slice all slavery
Sails unfurled we break free from the dock
Nothing to see but what the future holds
For you
For me
For everyone

The land they say is free
No longer exist
So we took to the water's edge
and found revolutionary freedom
FOR EVERYONE

I am sorry you feel that way. I wrote this poem about ten years ago. I have spent over half my life on a sailboat and have tendency to draw from it in my writing. If you feel in anyway I plagiarized from you I will remove it but I wrote it long before belonging to this community.

I just re-worked "Yesterday ",On a different note usually I don't like cliche but find they are great to distract,if that's the intention.

I would agree and I usually try to avoid that but I have to admit I do fall for the trap sometimes.
