Stain Glass Heart

Stain Glass Heart

A Poem by Freedom's Child

This stain glass window surrounds my stain glass heart
Many years have laid forth their many colors
Plentiful shades of many secrets still covered
Backgrounds of deserted dreams forgotten over the years
Bright colored memories used to make my heart smile
Dark colored memories whose scars are present in every picture
Years of magnificent craftsmanship put into this lovely piece of art
What life it brings when we stop and stare
But never forget how delicate is art
