Space

Space

A Poem by Matthew

We used to be two planets

Caught in an orbit

We used to be a constellation

Incomplete without the other

But soon the crescent

Smile disappeared from my lips

The fiery

Love disappeared from your heart

And soon

You became my Sun

A million

Million miles away from me

I used to see the Milky Way in your eyes

Now all I see is the starless night sky
