Love Story In Waiting

Love Story In Waiting

A Poem by Mirra
"

I saw him. Our eyes awkwardly met. This guy's my best friend, we usually would smile and stick to each other at school but we didn't. We're total strangers now since the day he told me everything.

"

Sad songs playing in his dark innocent eyes

Poignant lyrics read in every glance

Potent sincerity in harmony there lies

Melancholy yearning for a chance.

I listened to my unfathomable core

And heard what says my heart

Sweet melody knocked on my door

With bouquet of roses and a note behind.

I lost in the darkness of my own bewilderment

Trapped in a chest of turmoil

No way of escaping the torturing punishment

And the destiny's entangled fate of coil.

He stood and waited for a response

I just stared uttering no words

Deafening silence altered reality into a trance

Grieving love flowing on a rocky ford.

At long last I stayed undecided

Every time he passes a voice still sings

You and I will still tied in the same thread

As we both continue our love story in waiting.

Sometime the waiting make the final place sweeter and better if two people can find it. No weakness in the amazing poetry.

Wow. Thank you so much Coyote! I'd be happy to :-)
In most cases, friendships (phili ) always have a way of twisting itself towards love (eros), but moving on to it puts one's own neck on the line...there is really a need to think over and over before making or moving into that level because friendship will never be the same if the relationship ( eros) will not work ...though many relationship lasts if the foundation is friendship...

I see you are new. Welcome to the site dear one. The community is full of paradoxes but one good is sure in here : you'll definitely grow as a writer.
