The Airborn Coming Home V: From the Skies of Viridian.

The Airborn Coming Home V: From the Skies of Viridian.

A Poem by Maxwell M.
"

This is my first potential concept.

"

Oh what have we returned to?

We sought peace to the sounds of, battle.

Now at these graves marked in viridian.

We thought we could just go back to pleading for a more peaceful life.

But it's not what they, had in mind.

They sought out what they thought what we could take from them.

Oh Roman..oh you tried so hard and fought to be the noblest of kind.

To have paid the dearest of cost, no monument could do you justice.

But we'll strive on, to be the kind of people that you showed us to be.

Remember not what those men in red suits thought that they could bring us.

We'll learn in stride, to bring to these people and show who really are.

The Lionic, will learn the best of us.

Mariana, shed not tear for the sadness, but show love to prevail.

He loved you.

More than one once knew, bring to us what Roman showed.

Mit and the others knew damn well what they were doing,

They were his friends, his team.

We were brought peaceful resolution.

Oh to look at them soar!

Showering in bright greens and blues, show our color aquamarine.

Looking through those ruby glasses, to bring a joy, you know what we mean.

We'll live on!

We'll show to them our honor, everyday.

19:33 is the time when they cast down those of evil,

We relinquish in our victory!

Everyday, at 19:33, we'll say our words of honor and never cast down their names.

"They fought for us.

 Roman, Mit and E.

For us the truest of victory.

Never let name be thrown to dirt.

Till our day is at end,

 They chose honor in viridian."

Author's Note

Maxwell M.
A short 5 song story about a type of people born in the skies known as the Airborn. They are then visited by a somewhat alien race known as Lionic. A man named Roman sees them as a peaceful race who want to learn, and his own people want to destroy them and take their knowledge of technology.
