Dear Santa

i look outside

and see no snow

and wish for a white christmas

but every year around this time

there is no covering on the ground

there is no snowflakes

falling from the clouds

there is no snow covering the leaves

no snow upon my house

i want one year

just one wish

for the ground to dissapear

when the snow falls and

hits the ground

There's an incredibly small chance it will snow before Christmas where I am, but even when it does, it never snows ON Christmas. It's snowed the day before and the day after though, lol.
And hey, a poem doesn't need to rhyme. Making it rhyme can just make it sound cheesy. I liked this. Good job.
