The Labyrinth

The Labyrinth

A Poem by Maia

The weeping angels surround us
"count from ten" they say
hold your breath
don't close your eyes
it's quite beautiful, you see
does it hurt?
oh no, my love
much quicker than falling asleep
and here we are!
the Great Perhaps
take one last breath
and let go of the chains
that hold you to this labyrinth of pain
it's a metaphor
don't you see?
this labyrinth of pain
is all we conceive
its only outside the heavens
that you can believe

Why am I seeing Doctor Who in everything people write lately...Weeping angels and not closing their eyes made me think of it. Haha. Anyways, back to the poem. I love this. Amazing job. :)
