Winter Rain

Winter Rain

A Poem by m.e.d.a

Winter Rain, Summer snow
A mysterious action, a thought unknown
The warm touch of December, the cold touch of June
A breeze can't warm the air, no matter the amount of people
The people can't warm you, despite their burning fever
Should you realize that your warmest days are cold,
you will realize how much you feel alone
May you realize there are people near
Make it clear that they are dear
Winter Rain, Summer snow
Where you stand is unclear
Just put this through your mind,
Nothing is normal, for this is what you fear?
If it were to snow in mid-July, would you fret, would you cry?
If your warmth were to turn to ice, would you cry, would you sigh?
