Farewell .

Farewell .

A Poem by Megan Danielle Kelley

Crazy boy, you’re driving me insane.
Silly boy, why are you giving me all this pain.
You’re killing me darling.
Taking my breath, its startling .
I try to breathe , you make me choke.
Like my lungs are filled with smoke.
Why do we keep up this charade ?
Acting like we’ve got it made,
when we know we’re crumbling.
Everything we worked so hard for, it’s tumbling
Crashing to the ground .
Without a sound.
We need no alarm..
We’ve done so much harm.
It’s time to let go,
You’re not the one , I know.
I can walk away.
I’ll follow my path, I won’t stray.
But when you realize my worth.
And that I treated you like the only man on earth,
I’ll be gone .
Then it’ll dawn.
You lost me.
You’ll see.
Farewell, goodbye .
This is my final cry .
