Dear America

A little poem I made for the 4th of July:)

Today is the day
One so bright and new
We are all safe and happy all because of you
Thank you dear America for all the joy you bring
We deticate songs to you and open our hearts to sing
Brave patriots fight on a distant shore
So that you're safe forever more
We parade on this hallowed ground
and enjoy the lovely sound
Of our pride for this land
As we raise our hand
and place it over our heart
So that we may never part
From our beautiful America
the night comes around and brings with it a hush
but surely not for long until there is a rush
Light brighter than the sun
And as lovely as the moon
Lights up the night sky
And seems to end so soon
Colors of every shade
Shapes and size too
Light up the darkness all beacause of you
so god bless you America
And all the joy you bring
Listen carefully as we raise our voice and sing
And the national anthem we say
We thank you dear America
Each and every day

lovely dedication to your country I guess you are very patriotic. When I lived at home I had a Canadian flag over my window, though it was my mom's idea. You spelled "dedication" wrong though just edit that good stuff!
