Dream Dad

I often dream of what makes a dad a dad:

A dad is someone who gives hugs,

Makes you smile when your sad.

He is an anchor for his little girl,

protecting her from the monsters under the bed and in the real world

The guy that takes his daughter to work but shoos away the airmen

The classic dad strength: strong enough to lift the world but delicate enough to lift a small being

I wish had that dream dad, all I have is half my genes from a man that put a gun to my head and said dig.
