A Poem by melancholy
"

collaboration of debileah and myself-the four elements in a unique tongue-twister acrostic form

"

 Earth-Air-Water-Fire

E ternal euphonious  ex cathedra

A n arrayed artistry

R econciled redolent redeemers

T errestrial treasures trice (+)

H erein heaven's haven

A gile atmospheres attune

I mpassioned impulses intertwine

R ampent recitals recess

W himsical winds whistling whereon whorling waves

A zure ancients and ardent arches arise

T eal titanic tides theater tranquil tears

E mbarking emotions ebb euphoric electricity

R iotous roars rouse romance

F lames flourish firmaments

I lluminating igneous idols

R ouge rhyolite rhapsody's radiate rhythmic realms

E ternal embers embrace ethereal enlightenment

Oh bravo the two of you. This was an absolute brilliant collab! Very well written indeed.
Acrostic's are my favorite things! Good job!

I have never written an acrostic but this alliterative work is quite beautiful. Such splendid use of words. I adore the elements - I would perhaps consider removing the word waters in the first part of the water section as you refrained from using the exact word in all the other passages. Just a thought. Otherwise, quite compelling. Thank you for sharing.

Huh? I'm giving you that little look my doggy gives me when he wonders what I'm doing; cocking my head to one side and staring at you inquisitively. lol lol just kidding, this was fun...great job!

wow the alliteration is almost over powering, but it works well.
I usually don't like acrostic's but there is something so alluring about this one that you just got to love it.

Fun! Oddly, I had just reviewed an acrostic poem of Debileah's, and I always enjoy ingenious alliteration, something I fall into myself in prose formats, usually.

Since I regularly assay astrological charts, I always enjoy references to the ancient 4 elements too. And that's one POW! of an image ya got there!

It's quite impressive the way you got all this 4-element/acrostic/alliteratively determined word play to roll out rococo relevance too!

Ingeniously good work, both of you!
