A Need to be Heard

Give me a microphone
Give me a soapbox
Give me a way to
Get rid of these thoughts

My mind is a cave
Dark and stormy with words
Eating me alive

Until everything hurts

I need to say something
I need to be heard
I need to purge myself
From these frantic words
