A Buzz Worth While?

A Buzz Worth While?

A Poem by Melinda

Just a second
Just another turn
He's got another lesson to learn

Trees double up
The ground seems to fall
This could be the end of it all

Running a stop sign
Too drunk to see the lights
Beer disorienting his sight

The cars collide
Glass shatters
Everything that matters
Lost between crushed metal

A very powerful poem with a great message behind it. The whole poem catches the readers attention and has them on the edge of there seat the entire time. It flowed nicely and the description is outstanding. Detail is important in poetry and you have so me great details all the way through. Great read, great job.
