A Dream for You

A Dream for You

A Poem by Lissa

Hold on,

even when the pain

cuts through your skin,

opening memories you meant to forget.

Memories;

pieces of a past,

your past.

Who you were,

before you were lost.

Look up,

even when the crowd

says to look down,

hoping you'll watch yourself fall.

Falling;

a simple mistake,

one mistake.

A minute long,

forever changed.

Just dream,

even when you

think it's worthless,

a wish is stronger than doubt.

Wishes;

stars of magic,

moments of forever.

A little window,

to who you will be.
