Butterfly

Butterfly

A Poem by mellowleming

Weathered

Weathered hands

gentle hands

Move caressingly

lovingly

formless lump

earthen clay

Seduced by their touch

Enticed

Transformed

cocoon crumbled

no longer formless

ugly

a masterpiece

priceless piece

beautiful

perfect

Work complete

time to rest

finally

eternally

at peace

Gentle hands

weathered hands
