Late Night Thoughts

Late Night Thoughts

A Poem by Michel'le

While you are sleeping today's troubles away
I'm laying here
Listening to restful music
Trying to sleep
But every song reminds me of you
So I lay here thinking about all the things i want to do to you
to make you happy
To see you smile
To treat you like the king that I believe you are
But most likely, you don't care for my utter existence
Probably have eyes for someone else
Yet I'm here
Thinking you are already mines

Our minds can sometimes be our own worst enemies, consuming our time with restless thoughts. The not knowing is always the hardest but we do ourselves in sometimes for giving in to negative thoughts before we know the answers. Another good write. Oh, I think 'mines' at the end is supposed to me 'mine' :)
