Father Father

Father Father

A Poem by Tay

My father My Father why have you forsaken me

I called out your name but you said you aint taken me

Knocked on your door but the sign said no vacancy

I HATE YOU FOR THAT!! But I thank you for making me

Now I’m coming back to you and demandin the throne

So I can show u that I learned how to stand in my own

I had a few bad nights all alone in the cave

Had a few bad fights but I learned to be brave

Cut myself a few times but I learned how to shave

Now I’m free, No longer enslaved

No longer encaged to the rage that I held on to

And I know you can’t stand it cause u held on too

But I’m hear to let u know that I held on threw

Its like God blessed me and put hell on you

Now I’m standin at your feet and I’ve got nothing to give u

Except the memories of all the f****n s**t that I lived through

And as much as it hurts there’s one thing that I give u

My apology….and that I forgive you

Your poem is hot... no other way to describe it. I felt the anger of a young man and the creeping fear or his absent father.
