Light Versus Dark

Light Versus Dark

A Poem by KittyVenus

The blood red sky,

Way up high,

The surrounding mountains red,

Making the country look dead,

Life its self is like the night,

Putting up its strenghthening fight,

But later,

The night will cater,

The sun will replace the moon,

Stars hope this happens soon,

Again they will sleep,

As the sun begins to creep,

Evil deeds are now over,

As the light shines on a single clover.

This poem is just the right mix of despair and hope. Very well written

Amazing. I don't get to see poems rhyme with such a gentle touch. This poem actually gave me a flashback of all the terrible moments I have had in the past. Keep writing. I'm gonna make sure that I keep myself updated with your poems. They really do sum up my life in a few words.
Keep penning. Keep smiling. (:
