Racism hurts

Racism hurts

A Story by Mexamerican1

Black, brown, and red,

White,yellow and everyone else,

Make up our human race.

Yet people continue to hate,

There is good and bad in everyone,

But we all live, love, and die,

We all thrive under the same sun.

When you hate someone, remember,

They were once children,

With hopes and fears and insecurity,

Just as we once were.

Compassion for one another,

Should reign in our hearts,

For we all are children of our earth.
