What was it?

What was it?

A Poem by .Lost Soul.

Look at what you did to me
You broke me in ways
I didn't know I could be broken
You stole something from me
You left marks on my body
That only i can see
You say I'm lying but you killed me!
I feel dirty and ashamed
You left me ruined and in shambles
You killed me in just one night
You're the biggest manipulator
You make it hard to fight
Trying to scrub away the memories
But they still burn
You touched me and killed me
You said it was okay
But nothing about this is f*****g okay
You left me dead, and kicked me when you were done
And still tell me it wasn't rape
but if it wasn't f*****g rape
than what exactly was it?

"Trying to scrub away the memories

You touched me and killed me

I have struggled with Depression and anxiety my whole life. It sucks and it has been super hard to over come. I still struggle today with it and sometimes I don't know what to do. But I do know when I write out my feelings, I feel better and more motivated to share some of my things with the real world and realize that I'm not the only one who struggle with depression or heartbreak or whatever it may be.
You are a very talented author and I feel like as you continue to share, you will feel better and you will receive people out there who are struggling with the same things that you are.
Very heartfelt poem and it reminded me of a story I wrote called, "The blonde girl" If you want to read it you can, but you don't have to if you don't want to.
Keep up the incredible work and remember to smile!

This was absolutely heartbreaking. It was written with such anger and hurt and it's very clearly portrayed.

This is a powerful poem on abuse and your extreme feeling of having your body used and abused against any ability of your own to stop it. A rape of the body is one thing but, a rape of the mind is something else again.
