Tell me that you love me

And you’ll never put anyone above me

 

Tell me that you’ll stay off the streets

And that without me you’re incomplete

 

Tell me your love is boundless

Even though it seems so groundless

 

Tell me that you’d do anything for me

And that you completely adore me

 

Tell me she was the only other girl

And I’m still your whole world

 

Tell me that everything with her was a mistake

And all those heartbreaking pictures were fake

 

Tell me she means nothing to you

And without me you wouldn’t know what to do

 

Look me right in my big brown eyes

And tell me all your beautiful lies

I like the flow of the poem, at first its hopeful and I think sweet but almost sad at the end with the words "your beautiful lies"
