I believe in him

I believe he can do it

turn his life around  

i believe he could fly

to the heights of this town

I believe he could prove them wrong

laugh in the shadow of their doubts

Prove to them that he is someone

someone worth something now

I see him

smart and brilliant

witty and funny

Hes made mistakes

that we have all had to take

but don't we all 

make mistakes

Do you forget what it was like

being his age

nowhere to run

nowhere to hide

hes had to keep all his emotions inside

He's scared to ask for help

from you

because all you do is yell and scream

for all he wants is someone to trust

to tell him its okay

to say i forgive you

For I will be that person you can't be

I will keep him safe

I will watch over him

but I'm not what he wants

his sister who is perfect

in the eyes of the  parent

for what you see is not true

for what you see is a lie

I just never tell 

or break a word

to you who never understands our world.

 For I believe in him

and the person he is

for He is my brother

and I know he will never quit.

We all feel so for those we love be they family or friend this IMHO say it all you are a durn good writer and your poems (those I've read) are full of wisdom
