Mistakes

Mistakes, a silly thing that us as humans do,

silly little things that backfire on you.

when you tell someone you love them,

and that they'll never have to worry

about getting hurt, washed up and left in a hurry.

its these mistakes, these little things that start off so small,

then turn into something so powerful and tall.

until its a situation that you cant control,

and nothing you seem to do lets the wind just blow,

over and away all the silly mistakes and,

all the times you've ever caused heartache.

but what happens when the one with all the heartache,

is you because you know that you feel it too. 

you know that you love her and you feel her pain,

and you don't know whether you'll be able to shelter her from the rain.

some things are destiny, they are truly meant to be,

baby I hope that that's the case with you and me.

I hope that together we can pull through and

 forget about the past and how I hurt you.

and forget about all the lies and the deceit,

forget about all the times when the world was caving in and we,

didn't know if we was going to make it and pull through,

but I know that no matter what I will always love you.

any pain you feel, girl I feel it too

ha we are like E.T. and the boy, the boy who gave up everything too,

save his friend and send him back to outer space.

when I'm with you I might as-well be in outer space,

you make me so happy that I could spread my wings and fly,

so then ill never have to worry why.

why I hurt you, you know it wasn't intentionally,

I hope that always and forever we will still be.
