Brother...

  I've tried to ignore this feeling for so long

I tried to ignore me longing for you

But when I here your favourite song

I can't help but feel so blue

I know that you're okay

I know you're getting to see the world

But I hate that I will never stop missing you

There are no words that I can say...

to express these feeling that are so swirled

And the worst part of it all,is there's nothing I can do  

After all you are 22 years old

You make your own choices

I can't stop you

And when you left I felt so alone,so cold  

But begging you to stay would be pointless

So I will support you,"I love you to"...

Was the last thing I could say

Trying to hold back my tears

Never wanting to let you go

But you have to leave by the end of the day

I wave goodbye pushing down my fears

Time starts to slow 

Goodbye my big brother

Be safe, take care

Can't wait for the day...

when we see each other...

on that day my heart will repair

But until then I guess I will be just "okay"

Micky, I can say from experience that your big brother thinks about, misses, and loves you too. I was that older sibling who left to pursue my own life when my younger sister and brother were still kids at home. I didn't recognize the significance of that in their lives until much later. Though we all reach the point where he have to forge our own paths, siblings will always have those bonds of love to connect them across distances.

i am sure that where ever your brother might be that he is missing you just as much if not more and that he wants you to know that he will always be there for you and even now that he might be on a different part of the planet that he will always come back home to you. He will never let you struggle, sure life can seem a little hard at times but always remember that one beginning comes from some other beginnings end. He knows that are a strong willed woman and will always be there to support you! He loves you dearly!
