Into Darkness

Into Darkness

A Poem by Greg Peterson
"

A simple few lines I made, not too much too look into, but in my humble opinion, a good poem nonetheless.

"

Perhaps you and I

Nearly free

Flightless and Flighty

Could escape reality

Fly away into twilight

Where none could see

Waltz through the night

So nearly free

Completely relatable. We find our comfort in the darkness, but eventually, we're sucked back into the light.

this is short and sweet, i love it. I love the use of being nearly free from reality, i connect with the theme.
