Pure At Heart

Pure At Heart

A Poem by Michael

From when we begin

Right from the start

We all live as babies

All pure at heart.

Clean in the soul

When we learn to walk

Then something happens

When we begin to talk

We say what we hear

And live the way we're shown

Then before you know it

We are fully grown

Some live happy

Without grief or shame

Others they seem to struggle

Just to play the game.

Then there are those

That cover themselves with greed.

And on the other side of the tracks

You have the very bad seeds

So parents just remember

That our babies do as they see

You don't want your little one

To grow up like you and me.

It always very impoortant to set a good example for the young children~They need great role models to follow ~ so true to watch what we say and do in front of them~ Great thoughts~Fran
