Forbidden fruit

Forbidden fruit

A Poem by mila's thoughts

Forbidden fruit

Fallen from the tree of sin

Evaluation of human objective

Curiosity as a motive to give in

I watch it stumble, contemplating on the purpose

Admiration of its shape, temptations to taste

Attempts to resist, yet aroused by the aroma

Shameful intentions, I am no form of perfection

Seduction in disguise, portraying the devil’s persona

Familiar sensation, an event of destruction

Sweet to the heart, bitter to the mind

Daily desires of what is denied

Freedom of will, gifted perception

Complex conception, constructed by the Creator

A guide to the right direction

Image of purity, object of interruption

Misled us to confusion

As we the battle rejection of the forbidden fruit…
